Fast cars, sunshine, and celebrities, here is an overview of the exciting race weekend in Miami!
Formula 1’s influence in Miami continues to grow with this year’s Miami Grand Prix garnering international attention and attendance by high profile celebrities. This is the third year of the race with the inaugural prix held in 2022.
As the race got started, Max Verstappen was the heavy favorite (having won both the 2022 and 2023 Miami Grand Prix). Verstappen and Red Bull have been an unstoppable force lately and is the 2021, 2022, and 2023 F1 World Champion.
Verstappen started the race strong but after a crash on lap 29, Norris was able to have a strong launch, overtaking him on strategy using the slower safety car speeds, smartly timed pit stop, and making the most of his tire life to take the lead. Norris’ lead grew to 8 second gap over Verstappen by the finish. This is Norris’ first Grand Prix win and the first win for McLaren in the United States since 2012.

Menu items include sea bass, red snapper, certified Angus rib eye steak, and clams. Seafood in Cabo does not get better than this.
Toro Latin Kitchen & Bar
Toro Latin Kitchen & Bar epitomizes Baja California with a selection of Latin American dishes mixed with seafood and sushi. Their signature dishes include shrimp and crab enchiladas, flamed salmon roll, and the hamachi tiradito. It does not stop with the food as the restaurant’s interior is lined with contemporary art and local elements for an exciting dining experience.
La Casona
Located in the Villa La Estancia Beach Resort, La Casona is a beautiful steakhouse with an open-air ambiance. The menu features diverse cuisine including steak, seafood, salads, and vegan options. All of the vegetables and fruits used are organically grown at Miraflores town farms. There is also an extensive wine list perfect for pairing with the cuisine.
Mestizo del Mar
Perched atop the hill overlooking the Sea of Cortez, Mestiza del Mar serves up exquisite seafood and cocktails. Chef Oscar Rodriguez takes a less-is-more approach to the cuisine while also featuring unique and creative creations. The restaurant uses house-made ingredients to create unmatched flavors. Chef specialties include Portobello Stuffed With Ratatouille And Risotto, Bresh Chicken Wellington Style, and Regional Traditional Fish With Sea Food Sauce.
Los Riscos Mesquite Grill
It is not just in the name, all of the steaks, lobster, and fish are grilled over an open mesquite wood flame for an exceptional flavor profile. Enjoy all this while overlooking the sea of Cortez from atop this cliff-side establishment. Guests note that the restaurant is romantic, great for outdoor eating, and has scenic views. White Water Rafting
Colorado has an abundance of rivers perfect for white water rafting. For beginners and families, we recommend the tranquil stretches of the Roaring Fork River which offers a more relaxing experience. If you are craving some delicious coffee or freshly baked pastries, Persephone Bakery is sure to satisfy. Everything here is made fresh every day and bakery items are abundant. All items are made from scratch with locally sourced ingredients. Just outside, there is a patio to sit and enjoy a delicious blueberry muffin or an iced vanilla latte. We highly recommend stopping by here for breakfast while you visit downtown.
Snake River Grill
A local favorite, Snake River Grill is the perfect place for dinner if you are looking for American cuisine with a heavy Western influence. The ambiance is cozy and western with a stone fireplace in the center of the dining room. Steaks, freshly caught fish, locally sourced vegetables, and over 300 wines make this the perfect fine dining experience.
Coelette
Located in a cabin built in 1915, Coelette is new mixed with old. Featuring Asian, American, and European-inspired dishes in a historic environment, this establishment is one of the best culinary experiences in Jackson. We recommend the Raviolini and Duck dishes.

Outside of downtown on a beautifully scenic road, Calico offers Italian cuisine in a natural atmosphere. The outdoor patio next to a sprawling field is the perfect place to go with family. Dishes include classics like chicken parmesan to local favorites like grilled halibut.
